Ping-Sheng Wu is an artist working in sound and media, and a Lecturer at the Interdisciplinary Program of Technology and Art, National Tsing Hua University. His work spans sound art, audiovisual performance, and media installation. His works have been selected for the Taipei Digital Art Festival, international media art festivals, and related awards; presented at the Taiwan Biennial, Taiwan International Light Festival, Taiwan Lantern Festival, Yuejin Lantern Festival, Nuit Blanche Taipei, and Lacking Sound Festival, among others. His work and artist residencies have taken him to group exhibitions and art festivals across Asia, Europe, and North America. He holds an MA in Creative Sound and Media Technology from Bath Spa University.

In 2024 he co-founded SYNZR, a media art brand whose debut audiovisual work The Boundary of Sense was selected for the National Taichung Theater's 2024 NTT Arts NOVA program, world premiered in May 2024. His dome work Temporal Strata toured North America in March 2026 with showings at FilmGate Interactive (Miami) and SAT Fest (Montréal). Algorithmic Harmony, co-created with Chen Yi and Wang Chung-Kun, premiered at Kunstfest Weimar 2024. His sound installation Anteriusound was exhibited at the 2020 Taiwan Biennial (NTMoFA, Taichung).

In 2015 his collective received First Prize at the 6th Digital Art Performance Award, with selections at the Taipei Digital Art Awards in 2014, 2015, and 2016. From 2016 to 2022 he was music supervisor at the media art company noiseKitchen. He was selected for a residency at Triangle Arts Association (New York) in 2019, and by Taiwan Sound Lab for the IRCAM ManiFeste Artist Exchange Program (Paris). He also joined YiLab on a residency at EMPAC (Troy, NY). In 2020 he was selected for the C-LAB CREATORS program and conducted creative research on Wave Field Synthesis.

Sound design works include Black Hole Museum + Body Browser (selected, Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2023) and Sensing Dark Matter (2025 tour at Asia TOPA, SPRING Performing Arts Festival, and the Taipei Arts Festival).
