Crafted with complex coding, ‘Folding Harmonies’ represents a shift in digital artistry. More than just two hundred variations archived on the blockchain, it is an evolving, dynamic entity. Each visual piece, rendered with client-side computing, brings a pixelated world to life, with each pixel distinctively contributing to the narrative of light and sound.
The artist reimagines these pixel arrangements, endowing each with unique movement and speed, allowing viewers to see how these details merge into cohesive imagery. This approach transforms rigid algorithmic formulas into an artistic and poetic experience.
On an architectural scale, the work fully engages the senses, moving from two-dimensional logic to a three-dimensional experience through layered light and sound. It invites viewers to interpret the sounds they see and to listen to the visual echoes imprinted on their minds.

以複雜的程式碼構築,《折疊合聲》代表了數位藝術的一次轉向。超過兩百種變體被典藏於區塊鏈上,使它成為一個持續演化、動態的存在。每一個視覺呈現都以用戶端運算即時渲染,讓一個由像素構成的世界活了起來,每一個像素都獨特地參與了光與聲的敘事。

Ping Sheng is a new media artist specializing in computer music, audio-visual performance, and new media installation. A Bath Spa University alumnus, he was part of a team that won the Digital Art Performance Awards’ first prize. He has been selected for exchange programs at IRCAM, France and a joint production at EMPAC, New York. His works have been featured at Taipei Digital Art Festival, and he received Digital Art Awards in 2015 and 2016. His sound design for dance performances has been presented internationally, including at Transonic in Spain. From 2018–2022, he served as music supervisor at “noiseKitchen”. His VR sound design was selected for the 2023 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and in 2023 he was selected for the “2024 NTT Arts NOVA” project at the National Taichung Theater.
吳秉聖,新媒體藝術家,專長為電腦音樂、音像演出與新媒體裝置。畢業於英國 Bath Spa University,曾為數位藝術表演獎首獎團隊成員,並獲選法國 IRCAM 交流計畫與美國 EMPAC(紐約)共製計畫。作品曾發表於台北數位藝術節,並於 2015、2016 年獲數位藝術獎。其舞蹈作品聲音設計於國際間發表,包括西班牙 Transonic。2018–2022 年間擔任「noiseKitchen」音樂統籌。其 VR 聲音設計入選 2023 法國安錫國際動畫影展(Annecy);2023 年獲選臺中國家歌劇院「2024 NTT Arts NOVA」計畫。
